On Social Justice and Social Security

Justice is the prime value judgment of modern society, and the basic grounds for the design and arrangement of its institution. Under the circumstance of modernization and market economy, only when based on the just conception and principles can enhance the vigor and vitality of social economic development, improve the social integral institution and realize the all-round harmonious development. Social security is the adjustor and lubrication materializing social justice. Based on the social reality of China, the relentless improvement of social security system and the reinforcement of social security serve as the important means of maintaining social justice. Therefore it is of great necessity to establish social security system for the socially disadvantaged group, to enlarge its coverage, to establish urban comprehensive aiding system, and to perfect the social security system for the poor in the city. And to realize the legalization of social security by lawmaking is the key to the reform of social security system.
