Abstract
Objective: To investigate the effect of extracts from Centella asiatica(ASA) on proliferaton and intracellular free calcium of rat glomerular mesangial cells(MC).Methods:Rat MC were incubated with angiotensin Ⅱ(AngⅡ),To observe the proliferation and intracellular free calcium concentration by the MTT method and flurescence measurement with Fura-2/AM after given the extracts from ASA.Results after stimulation of Angiotensin Ⅱ,the proliferation and intracellular free calcium concentration raised obviously, and ASA could dose-dependently inhibit the the proliferation and intracellular free calcium concentration. Conclusion ASA could inhibit MC proliferation by decreasing the intracellular free calcium concentration.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
