Abstract
Objective To study the relationship between eNOS and collagenⅠ,Ⅲ expression in congenital heart disease(CHD) with pulmonary hypertension(PH).Methods Sixty patients with CHD were observed of pulmonary artery morphology and divided into 4 groups according to Heath-Edwards pulmonary vessel pathologic grading: control group(n=14),group Ⅰ(grade Ⅰ,n=18),group Ⅱ(grade Ⅱ,n=10),and group Ⅲ(grade Ⅲ,n=18).Immunohistochemical SP was employed to detect the expression of collagenⅠ,collagen Ⅲ and eNOS protein in the lung tissue of these patients. Results Compared with the control group, the expression levels of collagen Ⅰand Ⅲ were significantly increased in groupⅡ,Ⅲ,the expression levels of eNOS protein were significantly decreased in groupⅠ,Ⅱ,Ⅲ(P0.01).There was a positive correlation between the expression level of collagen Ⅰ,Ⅲ and the grade of PH(P0.01).There was a negative correlation between the expression levels of eNOS protein and the grade of PH(P0.01).There was a negative correlation between the expression levels of eNOS protein and the collagen Ⅰand Ⅲ(P0.05).Conclusion eNOS may play a role in the pathogenesis of pulmonary vascular remodeling.
