Literature Appreciation and Student Humanistic Quality Cultivation

Currently, such factors as the deviation of training objectives, little attention to humanistic education, spiritual poverty and social moral landslide are causing some college students to lack of humanistic quality. As a public basic course, literature appreciation is an important measure to strengthening the education of college students' humanistic quality and deepening the reform of higher education. Literature appreciation plays the roles of strengthening students' aesthetic ability, cultivating their ability to think innovatively, improving their overall quality and enriching their cultural connotation. Therefore, the effect of the application of literature appreciation to the development of college students' humanistic quality should be strengthened by means of innovating the personnel development mode, reforming the literature appreciation teaching and giving full play to its potential educational function.
