Abstract

Aesthetic education has multi-level functions, of which the fostering of appreciative ability is primary and fundamental. And its derivative functions can be revealed in its interactions with education and educational goals. Art education is an important means to implement aesthetic education, but the latter can not be replaced by the former. The practice of art education from the perspective of aesthetic education should pay special attention to the aesthetic property of art works. Appreciation is an advanced form of human spiritual ability, which can provide a sense of happiness.
