Abstract
In accord with the degree of interference from the administration to the capital market, there are mainly three sort of student loans in Hong Kong, namely means\|tested student loan, non means\|tested student loan and profitable student loan. These three are compensating with each other in satisfying various demand of education in different groups. The repayment ratio of student loan reaches 71.4%, showing that a comparatively healthy student loans system of granting and repaying has been established. The 1% default ratio of student loan also indicate the maturity of individual credit system and finance network system.
