Study on the Effect of R&D on Enterprise's Export Trade

Since the new century,with the development of both economic globalization and science and technology,enterprises are increasingly keen on joining in the global market and investing in RD to maintain their short-term business and long-term development.However,the current studies that have been made are rarely involved in the effect of enterprises' RD on their exports.Using a mathematical model,it analyzes the effect of RD on enterprise's exports from the perspective of productivity.It finds out that RD improves productivity to ensure that export enterprise has a greater ability to make profit,which contributes to the enterprise's exports.With the data of Chinese manufacturing enterprises from 2005 to 2007,it makes an empirical analysis which confirmed the conclusions of the theoretical study,that RD can improve export probability and total export of enterprises,and that RD can improve productivity of enterprises.Thus,productivity is the influence mechanism of RD on the export trade.
