Abstract

During the construction of Xiamen Tongan Yinhu single pylon single cable plane single row prestressed concrete extroadosed cable stayed bridge, a control and monitor system mainly for the purpose of geometric control of main girder, and also of consideration of stay cable force, main girder stress was established. With this control and monitor system, accurate closure between the bridge spans was successfully made on July 8, 2002 and satisfactory construction control results were achieved therefrom.
