Abstract
As relatively large size,mass concrete releases large hydration heat when the cement is condensing.Without attention and control during the construction process,it is likely to result in excessive temperature difference between inside and outside the concrete,and cause mass concrete crack which threatens the safety and durability of the concrete structures.Therefore,it is necessary to study and control the cracks by temperature change in mass concrete.In this paper,the mechanism of mass concrete temperature cracks and various factors of impact in cracks development was analyzed,control measures of temperature cracks was studied.Referred existing mass concrete thermal stress calculation and forecasting methods,effective measures to reduce the temperature cracks of mass concrete was put forward from the concrete mix design and construction process of monitoring.
