Abstract
In the paper,the generalized projective Riccati equation method is developed to solve nonlinear difference-differential equation(s).To illustrate the application of the method,the nonlinear discrete Schrdinger equation is chosen as an example and a number of exact solutions of the equation are obtained with the help of symbolic computation system Maple,which include hyperbolic function solutions and trigonometric function solutions.
