Study on Quality Standard for Huoxiang Zhengqi Capsules

Abstract

OBJECTIVE To establish a quality standard for quality control of Huoxiang Zhengqi capsules.METHODS Cortex magnoliae officinalis ,Herba pogostemonis , Radix angelicae dahuricae were identified by TLC; The magnolol and honokiol were determined by HPLC.RESULTS Cortex magnoliae officinalis , Hebra pogostemonis ,Radix angelicae dahuricae could be identified by TLC; Magnolol showed a good linear relationship in the range of 0.12324-4.9269μg , (r=1.0000) .The average recoverey was 97.76% and RSD was 2.18%(n=9). Honokiol also showed a good linear relationship in the range of 0.02988-2.9880μg, (r=1.0000) .The average recoverey was 98.47% and RSD was 4.39%(n=9).CONCLUSION The methods are available with a reproducibility and could control the quality of this preparation effectively.
