Abstract

The main part of the Ming Dynasty's poetics is the Tang-poem poetics,the research on the seven-character verses of the Tang Dynasty was one hot issue in the Ming Dynasty.The discussion of the septasyllabic regulated verses in Shiyuanbianti which was published in the late Ming Dynasty is not Xu Xueyi's original creation but is closely related to the previous and contemporary poetics.It is on the basis of various ideas that the discussion of the septasyllabic regulated verses in Shiyuanbianti becomes the sum-up works in this research field in the Ming Dynasty.
