Abstract
Selectively oxidized linen fabrics were grafted with amino-terminated hyperbranched polymer(HBP-NH2)and then dyed with reactive dyes.FT-IR confirmed that the aldehyde groups of the oxidized linen fibers reacted with the amino groups of HBP-NH2.The results showed that the aldehyde content of the oxidized linen fibers increased with the oxidation time of sodium periodate increasing, and subsequently increased the amount of the HBP-NH2 grafted to linen fiber.Consequently, the K/S value of salt-free dyeing was increased. The rubbing fastness(especially the wet rubbing fastness) gradually decreased, the lightness became dark and the chroma increased.
