Abstract
OBJECTIVE To determine the content of catalpol in different processed products of Radix rehmanniae.METHODS Catalpol in Radix rehmanniae was determination by high performance liquid chromatography. The mobile phase used was acetonitrile-0.1% phosphoricacid(1∶99).The detection wavelength was set at 210nm.The flow rate was1.0mL·min-1.The column temperature was controlled at 25℃.RESULTS After processing, catalpol in different processed products of Radix rehmanniae is different, descending order of content is Radix rehmanniae,Radix rehmanniae preparata,Radix rehmanniae carbon and Radix rehmanniae preparata carbon.CONCLUSION The method was accurate and specific. This method can be used for the quality control of Radix rehmanniae.
