Abstract
Objective To analyze the results of water quality detection for the rural drinking water safety project in Beibei during 2008-2009 and provide reference for the further improvement of the drinking water safety project in Beibei.Methods The analysis on the detection of 168 water samples was conducted during 2008-2009.Results Of 168 samples,48 were qualified with the qualified rate of 28.57%. The qualified rate of water in 2009 was higher than in 2008 (χ2=9.81,P0.005). The water quality in high water season was better than that in low water season(χ2=11.67,P0.005). Of all the unqualified indicators,the first five were micro-organisms indicators.Conclusion By comparison of water quality indicators in the rural area of Beibei in 2008,the water quality was improved greatly in 2009,but the overall qualified rate was still low.
