Abstract
Objective:To study the coagulation and fibrinolysis states in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD),and its impact on the progression and prognoses of the disease.Methods:61 stable patients with COPD,73 acute exacerbation of COPD and 60 healthy adults as controls were studied.Prothrombin time(PT),activated partial thromboplastin time(APTT),fibrinogen(FIB),platelet(PLT),D-dimer(D-D),lupus-type anticoagulants(LA) and arterial partial pressure of carbon dioxide(PaCO2) of the groups were measured and analyzed. Results:COPD patients had significant increase in PT,APTT,FIB,D-D,PLT and the ratio of LA compared with healthy group(P0.01).It showed obviously decrease in D-D and PaCO2 in acute exacerbation group compared with stable group(P0.05),but FIB and the ratio of LA were no significant difference(P0.05).Conclusion:The patients with COPD have hypercoagulability. The higher LA maybe is an important reason to enhance hypercoagulabale state. The hypercoagulability and low fibrinolysis of acute exacerbation of COPD is more conducive to thrombosis.
