Abstract
The influence of epicenter distance on earthquake ground motion duration is discussed based on American strong ground motion records. In study,70% energy duration delegates duration. It is notable for the influence of epicenter distance on earthquake ground motion duration through analysis. As a whole, the greater the epicenter distance, the longer the duration is.But,the duration turns short while the magnitude is bigger. In the other hand, duration of east-west direction is longer than south-north direction,so the duration changes as the direction changes.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
