Abstract
The interior air flow and its influence on thermal comfort under natural ventilation are important factors in housing design.By using the computational fluid dynamics(CFD) method and Fluent software, numerical model of two types of apartments of a high building in a residential district located in Tianjin was built up.The interior natural ventilation in typical climate of the summer season was simulated and analyzed. The influences of direction and velocity of wind, and temperature on interior natural ventilation velocity field and interior thermal comfort index was studied. The results reveal that the ventilation effect in type A is better than that in type B.The analysis of natural ventilation in buildings by numerical simulation can not only evaluate their ventilation effects, but also provide an important reference for building planning and design.
