Abstract
The indoor natural ventilation environment of the two typical residensial layouts was simulated by using CFD(Computational Fluid Dynamics) method based on RNG k ~e turbulent model.The interior airflow velocity and pressure distribution on pivotal areas such as bedrooms and the parlour were obtained,and volume flow rate was analyzed as well.Natural ventilation effect was evaluated.Interior layout has an effect on natural ventilation.Indoor partition can change indoor pressure and air velocity,thus influence natural ventilation.The layout can produce cross-ventilation is the best layout for natural ventilation.Architects should design layouts favourable for natural ventilation so as to promote building energy efficiency.
