Abstract

Objective:To type Pseudomonas aeruginosa (PA) with randomly amplified polymorphic DNA(RAPD) analysis. Methods: Optimal reaction system and amplification condition of RAPD were used for genotyping of the 274 strains PA isolated from the clinical samples and the genotype map was drawn according to. At the same time, the continuity or skipping type of PA infection in 8 individuals was observed and analyzed. Results:From the 274 strains of PA, 133 kinds of PA RAPD type were distinguished by RAPD and the skipping type was observed in 1 individual with PA infection. Conclusions: One hundred and thirty three kinds of PA RAPD type were obtained by RAPD in 274 PA strains and the multi_strain infection with the same species of PA was found in individual infection.
