Abstract
The mine disaster science is synthetical science with strong application and practicality, which contacts the mine production, safety and economic construction. In the light of history and present situation of mining industry development, the material base and initiative power forming and developping the mine disaster science have existed. Studying and building the mine disaster science is not the only one of comprehensively and correctly knowing mine disaster and the occur-ing and development law of mine accidents, raising safety consciousness. It is more important that with the help of the mine disaster science forecasting the future of mine production, realizing society stability and continued development.
