CARTOGRAPHY OF THEMATIC MAP BASED ON ARCGIS ENGINE

Abstract

As users demand for the production of thematic maps,without the need for other complex functions,ArcGIS Engine provides development components.When geographic data was displayed on a map by rendering,the distribution and trend displayed hardly in the data table could display distinctly before people.ArcGIS Engine had abundant cartography function of thematic map,which improved and optimized the process of map cartography and enhanced cartography efficiency and theuse ratio of a given data.In this paper,how to apply the thematic map cartography function of ArcGIS Engine was discussed.
