Abstract

ArcGIS Engine is an embedded type component library newly launched by ArcGIS9. This paper introduces the technologies of the ArcGIS Engine and. NET,using C# language and ArcGIS Engine components to develop a special thematic map rendering system,and expound design flow for the system and some of the main functions of the implementation.
