In higher vocational colleges,students' English reading ability is a comprehensive ability.English reading teaching play a decisive role in english teaching of higher vocational colleges.Reading is the important way of students to acquire english knowledge and to improve their English practical ability.The cultivation of students' reading ability is the main content of English teaching in higher vocational colleges,and is the important content of english target teaching.Therefore,the most important thing in training is the training of students' independent ability.While trainning,on the basis of students' mastering basic grammar and language,we must pay attention to the union of all aspects of teaching activity inside and outside class.And we must strengthen the reading training,to improve the students' reading level and reading ability.
