Abstract

[Objective] To observe the clinical effect of interferon α1b in treating patients with chronic hepatitis B. [Methods] The patients with chronic hepatitis B were divided into two groups.The treatment group of 82 patients(M 68,F 14,age 35a±9a) received interferon α1b 3MU,im,every other day for 4 months.The control group of 32 patients(M 21,F 11,age 35a±12a) received drugs protecting liver for 4 months.[Results] The seroversal rate of HBeAg and HBV DNA in the treatment group were 51.5%.49.3% respectively,which was much better than that(6.5%,8% respectively) in the control group(P0.001). [Conclusion] Interferon α1b is an effective antiviral drug in treating chronic hepatitis B.
