Abstract
The influences of extrusion distortion on the microstructure of AZ31 magnesium alloy tube were investigated by Gleeble-1500D machine,630ton-extruder and microscopy. The casting was homogenized before extrusion. The results show that dynamic recrystallization occurs during hot extrusion;the grains of AZ31 magnesium alloy refine by extrusion deformation. With the increase of extrusion ratio, the extents of fining grain intensify and the size of grain changes from 19 μm to 37 μm.
