Abstract
To investigate the influence of prestressing force on the shear lag effect of box girder of prestressed concrete(PC)cable-stayed bridge, this paper establishes several finite element models by means of the software ANSYS for the completion state of the cable-stayed bridgeof Jianning Bridge in Zhuzhou in cases that the bridge will be provided with or not provided with the longitudinal and transverse prestress. On the basis of analysis and comparison of the calculation results, the paper verifies the influence of the longitudinal and transverse prestress on the shear lag effect of the box girder of the PC cable-stayed bridge and points out that the influence of the longitudinal and transverse prestress can not be ignored in the study of the shear lag effect in the top slab of the girder, the rational arrangement of the longitudinal prestress can lessen to some extent the degree of the non-uniform distribution of stress due to the shear lag effect and the influence of consideration or ignorance of the longitudinal and transverse prestress on the shear lag effect in the bottom slab of the girder is limited.
