Abstract

With one after another breakthrough in super-high-yield rice breeding, how is the rice yield potential to be raised to a higher and higher level? The author conceived a new idea of the developing model of plant types,by which rice yield would be constantly raised with the increase of plant height on the basis of current high harvest index(HI).
