Abstract
Amplified Fragment Length Polymorphism (AFLP) is a PCR-based technique being used for DNA-fingerprinting analysis as a molecular marker. AFLP marker are a relatively more simple quick reliable advantages than other techniques. This paper emphasizes on the principle and technique improvement of AFLP and its application to genetic diversity detection, germplasm identification, phylogenetic analysis, and genetic map construction in fruit trees.
