Abstract
Most blocks of heavy oil and other hard-to-recover reserves in Shengli Oilfield become more and more difficult to produce. The supporting techniques of in situ combustion have been studied, improved, and successfully tested in high permeability heavy oil reservoir, low permeability heavy oil reservoir, reservoirs after cyclic steam stimulation, and sensitive heavy oil reservoir. This provides technical reserve for producing hard-to-recover reserves by in situ combustion in the future.
