Tiansuo" AC drive electric passenger locomotive

Abstract

Main parameters and performance of Tiansuo AC drive electric passenger locomotive are introduced. Major characteristics of the locomotive are illustrated. Traction, braking as well as the dynamic performance tests have been done in the Test Ring of China Academy of Railway Sciences. The results indicate that the locomotive are in accordance with the traction requirement of passenger train speeding up to 200 km/h.
