Abstract

Objective To evaluate the diagnostical value of 64-slice CT angiography in lesions of superior mesenteric artery(SMA) and superior mesenteric vein(SMV) so as to improve the accuracy diagnosing rate.Materials and Methods 45 patients diagnosed in lesions of SMA and SMV by 64-slice CT enhanced angiography scanning were reviewed retrospectively. All patients were received the CT volume scan, triggered by automatically tracking the contrasted intensity.Image processing included multi-planar reconstructions(MPR),maximum intensity projection(MIP) and volume rendering(VR).Results The SMA and SMV were showed very clearly in 45 patients, and 49 cases lesions were found, involved SMA(23 cases),SMV(13 cases),both SMA and SMV(13 cases). Conclusion 64-slice CT angiography can clearly show the anatomy of SMA and SMV,and can accurately diagnose the lesions of the SMA and SMV.
