Research progress of coastal wetlands in Jiangsu Province

The reviews of the wetland research achievements of the coastal wetlands in Jiangsu Province in recent years,in terms of the research content and the methods of research were done.During 15 years,the range and content of the research were extended evidently,of which the main contents were the exploitation and utilization of wetland resources,variation of ecology and environment,biodiversity,function of wetlands ecosystem,risk evaluation related with sea-level changes,landscape change,wetland restoration,wetland evaluation,and wetland management,and so on.The methods of research were advanced and mature.Many new methods such as 3S,mathematical model and new technologies have been used widely in this field.At the same time,the analyses of the situation and the progress of wetland researches in the coastal wetlands in Jiangsu Province were made,and the main research direction was put forward.
