Comprehensive treatment for scapulohumeral periarthritis:a report of 98 cases

Abstract

Aim To explore the methods and effects of comprehensive treatment for scapulohumeral periarthritis.Methods 98 cases of scapulohumeral periarthritis were randomly divided into 2 groups.The control group was treated with massage and functional exercise.The therapy group was treated with physiotherapy besides massage and functional exercise.Result The ache and ROM of scapulohumeral in the therapy group were more significantly improved than that in the control group,and the difference between two groups was significant(P0.01).Conclusion The physiotherapy matched with massage and functional exercise for scapulohumeral periarthritis was effective and satisfactory.
