On the inheritance officials of Zhenzong Emperor in the Song Dynasty

The inheritance officials of Zhenzong Emperor in the Song Dynasty, composed of the officials before his succession to the throne, were the important political power. They were of high literary quality,and among them,there were more civil officials. Yet, both the military officials and the civil officials were all conservative, and they did not take advantage of the good situations to reform political affairs and develop production. On the contrary, they followed the old route formed during the reign of the Taizong Emperor which had a negative influence to the Song Dynasty.
