Management of Lens Dislocation with Lensectomy and Vitrectomy Combined Suspended Intraocular Lens(IOL) Implantation

Abstract

Objective:To investigate the effects of lens dislocation with lensectomy and vitrectomy combined suspended intraocular lens(IOL)implantation.Methods:7 eyes with traumatic lens dislocation were surgically managed by lensectomy and vitrectomy combined suspended intraocular lens(IOL) implantation.To explore the skills of the operations,the operative effects and the postoperative complications.All the cases were followed up 3~6 months.Results:All the eyes were successful in suspension once,The position of IOL was normal.The vision of 7 cases rasied obviously,severe complications were not observed.Conclusion:Management of lens dislocation with lensectomy and vitrectomy combined suspended intraocular lens(IOL) implantation were safe and effective ways.Some skills were used during the operation and some operative adaptations were controlled.
