Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the clinical effects of combination application of implant and mini-screw implant as anchorage in orthodontic and renovation. Methods: Choose 24 patients who's mandibular molar had defected and maxillary molar had elongated2.5mm. The patients' mandibular molar defect were received ITI implant installation under the normal treatment rules. At the same time, the extruded maxillary molar were treated with self-drillinng mini-screw implant as anchorage for intrusion. Rusults: 1 patient's miniscrew implant were loosed and then lost because of peri-implant inflammation. Other 23 patients' maxillary molar were average intruded 2.4mm in 5.6 month. After ITI implant installed in partial edentulous area, the effect of the treatment were excellent. Conclusion: To the patients of mandibular molar defected and maxillary first molar elongated, combination application of implant and mini-screw implant as anchorage in orthodontic and renovation can obtain optimal results.
