Abstract

Spirit of Chinese art belongs to that of Chinese culture.Spirit consciousness is derived from Daoism,but spirit of Chinese art appeared in the early 20th century as a theoretic research.If Wang Guowei's Spirit of Quyuan's Literature is looked upon as the beginning,the research of spirit of Chinese art has a history of 100 years.In the 100 years,neo-Confucianism especially attached importance to the research into spirit of Chinese art.In contemporary China,spirit of art is facing many difficulties and challenges,but spirit of Chinese art has infinite charm,so she will deeply influence China and the world in the future.This is confidence and value bearing of spirit of Chinese art.
