Transportation of Jiangxi District in the Song Dynasty

Abstract

In the Song Dynasty,Chinese transportation had a vast change.During the Northern Song Dynasty,Da Yu Ling post-road was the main road between the central region of the dynasty and Lingnan.In the Southern Song Dynasty,Jiangxi district became the hub of east-west transportation.In the area,two main post-roads and four branch post-roads constituted a well-development transportation of Jiangxi district in the Song Dynasty.At the same time,well-development transportation played an important impact on the economy and culture of Jiangxi.
