Omeprazole dose and treatment of peptic ulcer

Objective To analysis of peptic ulcer treatment omeprazole and efficacy of dose and duration.Methods90 cases of peptic ulcer patients were randomly divided into two groups,A group of 45 patients,omeprazole 20 mg /d,4 weeks of treatment of duodenal ulcer,gastric ulcer 6 weeks;B group of 45 patients with O'Meara yl 40 mg /d,2 weeks treatment of duodenal ulcer,gastric ulcer 3 weeks;two groups of patients were also taking metronidazole 400 mg,clarithromycin 250 mg,both 2 times a day.ResultsTwo groups of duodenal ulcer healing rates were 84% and 84%,gastric ulcer healing rates of the two groups were 83.4 and 81.2%;the total effective rate of duodenal ulcer two groups were 96% and 96%,total effective rate of gastric ulcer groups were 100% in the healing rate and the total efficiency was no significant difference.Help with omeprazole 20 mg/d,longer treatment time,with omeprazole 40 mg/d,treatment time is short,regardless of which method to take the drug on the treatment of peptic ulcer were very satisfied.ConclusionNo matter which method above,Austria-yl pull off on the treatment of peptic ulcer is significant,omeprazole 20 mg /d,longer treatment time,with omeprazole 40 mg /d,treatment time is short,the drug is a proton pump inhibitor,can be a good anti-gastric acid secretion,rapidly relieve symptoms,promote healing of peptic ulcer.
