Abstract

According to the data in Journal Citation Reports 2002 (JCR2002) declared by American ISI, the paper combined the agricultural engineering journals accepted by it. Firstly, it compared several main indices distributions with each other in agricultural engineering journals and then statistically analyzed the papers in the journals accepted by SCI from the year 1974 to 2003. Results show that these agricultural journals indices are distinctly lower than the general ones of JCR2002 journal. In the meanwhile, it provides an effective way to study technological assessment in agricultural engineering science.
