Abstract
Adult learning ability won't fall obviously with aging, which has become a basic consensus. Throughout the studies on the adult learning capability, whether the research content or research methods are, from simple knowledge and skills to complex psychological measurement of cognitive ability, and from the rough, cross sectional study between groups to precise, between individuals, which have repeatedly demonstrated that adults have the ability to learn. Adult's learning ability, however,is far less than the potential ability to learn, that is,the adult's learning potential is not fully developed because of various obstacles. Rethinking on the adult learning ability and exploring the influence of adult learning ability triggers are conducive to develop the potential of adult learning and help adults constantly adapt to the process of learning society.
