Investigation and Analysis of Destruction in Asphalt Pavement of Urban Road

Based on detailed investigation of the condition of the urban road asphalt pavement in Pudong New Area, the way of destruction in the asphalt pavement is described, and the cause analyzed. Finally, some key points are raised for special attention in the design and construction of urban roads, with proposals that the standard for asphalt compactness be raised in pavement construction and that applicable measures be taken in subgrade construction to ensure quality of backfilling ditches and ponds.
