Abstract
Activated carbon fiber(ACF) is used to treat phenol wastewater.Adsorption isotherm and dynamic adsorption breakthrough curve are determined. The effects of factors such as pH and adsorption time on adsorption efficiency have been studied. The results indicate that when pH value is greater than 8,adsorption efficiency decreases and adsorption time presents optimum value.ACF regenerated by NaOH of 10% conc.has not much difference in adsorption efficiency after three cycles.Adsorption capacity of ACF for phenol is 275.1 mg/g,adsorption rate is fast and regeneration of ACF is simple.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
