Abstract
Objective To observe the clinical effect of Tang Shen Ning combined with western conventional therapy for early diabetic nephropathy of qi-yin-deficiency.Methods Seventy subjects were randomized into two groups: control group in which 35 cases were treated by western conventional therapy, and treatment group in which 35 cases were treated with Tang Shen Ning and western conventional therapy, with a course of 3 months.Clinical efficacy, symptom scores, fasting blood glucose,24h urine albumin, blood lipids, endothelin and hypersensitive C-reactive protein were observed before and after treatment. Results The total effective rate was 85.71% in treatment group and 62.86% in control group, with a difference between them(P0.05).After treatment, the major symptom score decreased obviously in the treatment group(P0.05),and decreased little in the control group(P0.05),with a difference between the two groups(P0.05).Fasting blood glucose did not reduce in both groups afer treatment(P0.05).After treatment,24h urinary albumin excretion, triglyceride, low density lipoprotein, hypersensitive C-reactive protein and endothelin in the treatment group decreased significantly(P0.05);24h urinary albumin excretion and ET in the control group decreased(P0.05);there were significant differences in 24h urinary albumin excretion, triglyceride, low density lipoprotein and hypersensitive C-reactive protein between the two groups(P0.05).Conclusion Tang Shen Ning can regulate blood lipid, improve endothelial function, relieve inflammation and reduce urinary albumin to prevent diabetic nephropathy.
