Effect of triple therapy for peptic ulcer with Helicobacter pyloripositive

OBJECTIVE To compare the effects of omeprazole combined with different antibiotics to consist of the triple therapy treatment for peptic ulcer with Helicobacter pylori positive.METHODS From Jan 2010 to Jan 2011,a total of 246 patients with peptic ulcer with Helicobacter pylori positive were randomly divided into 3 groups(respectively n=82),the patients in A group were given metronidazole plus clarithromycin treatment,in group B were given amoxicillin plus clarithromycin treatment,and in group C were given furazolidone plus levofloxacin treatment,the curative effects of the three groups were compared 4 weeks after the treatment.RESULTS The cured rate of H.pylori patients of the group C was 97.56%,90.24 % of the group B,and 80.49% of the group A.The healing rate of the peptic ulcer was 95.12% in the group C,85.37% in the group B,and 82.39% in the group A.The incidence rate of the adverse reaction rates was 12.20% in the group A,8.54% in the group B,and 4.88% in the group C,the differences were statistically significant(P0.05).The remission rate of abdominal pain was 86.59% in the group C,85.37% in the group B,and 84.15% in the group A,the difference was not statistically significant.CONCLUSION The omeprazole combined with furazolidone and levofloxacin can significantly improve the radical rate of H.pylori as well as the healing rate of ulcer,with low incidence of adverse reactions,which is superior to the traditional treatment program.
