Abstract
Based on the multiple allele hypothesis of genetic male sterility in Chinese cabbage, containing 50% flowering Chinese cabbage genes 04213 with GMS as female parent and '80 days caixin 'as male parent, the gene of male sterility was transferred to the flowering Chinese cabbage by crossing, selfing and test crossing. The new male sterile lines, new AB lines I and temporary maintainer lines were obtained. The results will enlarge the resource of male sterile lines in flowering Chinese cabbage.
