Abstract
Based on the Multiple Allele Hypothesis of male sterility, the male sterile lines Z05-31A of Chinese cabbage was used as a source of male sterility, and the fertile lines of flowering Chinese cabbage variety Chixin 4 as recurrent parent. The gene of male sterility was transferred to the flowering Chinese cabbage Chixin 4 by means of crossing,back-crossing,self-crossing and test crossing. The sterile rate and the sterility of Chixin 4 reached to 100%.Then the new AB line type I,new male sterile lines and their corresponding temporary maintainers of flowering Chinese cabbage were abtained from the transferred progenies.
