Unlike his predecessors,Mao Zedong did not talk about education in terms of itself and he described essence of education from height of relations of education with politics,economy and culture.He believed that education is one of the cultures of ideology,that education is superstructure which is decided by economic basis and inturn serve economic basis and that education is an activity of history and class,and it is subject to and reflecting politics.
