Abstract
To observe the curative effects of noninvasive positive pressure ventilation in the treatment of acute left heart failure combined with respiratory failure. Fifty-eight patients with acute left heart failure combined with respiratory failure were randomly divided into two groups, control group(n=28) and observation group(n=30).The control group was treated with routine treatment while the observation group was treated with noninvasive positive pressure ventilation in addition to routine treatment.Changes of heart rate, respiration blood gas indexes, and clinical efficacy in the two groups before and after the treatment were compared. The total effective rate of the observation group(93.3%) was significantly higher than that of the control group(75.0%)(P0.05).The heart rate,respiration,pH,PaO2,PaCO2,SaO2 in the observation group were significantly improved when compared to the control group(P0.05). The treatment of noninvasive positive pressure ventilation for patients with acute left heart failure combined with respiratory failure had a good effect. It is worthy of clinical application.
